Descrição

The Koutetsu Chromax 135mm Petty is one of those rare knives you'll instinctively reach for every single day. Designed by Takayuki Shibata, one of Japan's most respected modern knife makers, it embodies the philosophy that has made the Koutetsu line legendary: exceptional cutting performance through uncompromising geometry.

This is a true laser.

From the moment the blade touches an ingredient, you'll immediately understand why Shibata-san has developed such a devoted following among professional chefs and enthusiasts around the world. The ultra-thin grind glides effortlessly through shallots, herbs, citrus, garlic, strawberries, boneless proteins, and countless everyday prep tasks with remarkably little resistance.

At its core is Chromax, a premium semi-stainless steel prized for combining the edge retention and aggressive bite of high-performance carbon steel with significantly improved corrosion resistance. The stainless cladding makes daily maintenance refreshingly simple, allowing you to enjoy outstanding performance without the constant attention demanded by traditional carbon steels.

At just 135mm, this petty excels where larger knives feel cumbersome. Whether you're trimming proteins, slicing fruit, preparing garnishes, or handling precision work on the board, this knife delivers remarkable control while maintaining the cutting performance that has become synonymous with the Koutetsu name.

Minimal in appearance. Extraordinary in performance
